“Van, did Shauna fucking Shipman write that song?” You ask, through gritted teeth and it’s either your glare or the fact that her presence might be enough to make you walk from the whole project, you don’t know but she winces and brings her palms up in defence.
“Yes, but in my defence, you would never have come if you knew.” She looks genuinely apologetic about not telling you and her voice drips would earnestness that makes you grumble slightly, you just cannot stay mad at her. Nat takes a drink off to the side and Van offers you your drink.
You decline it.
