Betty Brant was no idiot. By her junior year of high school, she had made it into a prestigious STEM school despite her liberal arts future, she had gotten an internship with an up and coming newspaper that put a focus on accountability, she had won half a dozen awards for her work in her school's journalism club, she had been accepted into all the top schools of journalism and earned the scholarships to pay for it, and she had helped Spider-Man defeat Mysterio.
But no matter how hard she thought about that trip from hell, she could not figure out why she was around Spider-Man in the first place.
And she could not for the life of her remember the name of the kid in this photo.

Alex has settled into his life at NYU Law quite well. His life is great in his Brownstone with Henry. He has, however, gained a bit of weight as EVERYONE seems to want to point out. After overhearing a conversation about himself, Alex starts to question his worth and Henry's lingering attraction to him.
““Close your eyes. Open your mouth. I have a surprise for you.” Henry commanded.
“Bossy.” Alex joked, voice only wavering slightly. Still, he obeyed. “Is it a sexy surprise?"
“No.” Henry’s voice even smiled beautifully. “It’s something you’ll like better.” Sweet blueberries danced across Alex’s tongue as a soft pastry filled his mouth. A muffin. It was a muffin like the one he had given away earlier. Though, he supposed he didn’t actually confirm he had given it away.
He thinks you like food more than sex.
Henry thinks you’re such a pig that you were truly lamenting that muffin.”

And then he dropped the white sticky thread, which Tony's sleep-deprived mind was completely one hundred percent certain was a web just like Spider-Man’s, and went back to work.
Who knew such things could be hiding in Tony’s own internship labs?
OR: Tony Stark has been looking for Spider-Man for a long time. He has very, very little success in this search, despite Peter Parker working in his labs. Just some fun identity shenanigans >:)

Natasha’s eyes narrow, and she asks him, “And what do you think we need to do, Peter?” like it’s a threat. Like if he says the wrong thing, she’ll pounce. But he knows the answer to this question and god, they’re going to make him spell it out for them, aren’t they?
“You need to kick me off the team.”
Essentially, none of the Avengers honestly believe Peter when he tells them that no, he really isn’t anorexic and to trust him—he’s just very busy and doesn’t have the spare time or money to eat enough, it’s most certainly not on purpose and they most definitely do not need to kick him off the team because of it.
