Summary
I wrote this as a response to an uncommon but not rare criticism of long-form comics works, including Lore Olympus. This is not in response to a specific critique but to the class of it as a whole, which boils down to "This comic's style changed because the artist/artist assistants are failing at their job."
In effect, this is an exploration of (a) why they aren't failing at their job in Lore Olympus and are in fact doing splendidly, and (b) the actual reasons behind style changes in any long-form work, but specifically focusing on comics and sequential art.
This is also messy because it's a series of Discord messages, as I was typing off the top of my head, with help from my siblings.* No corrections of spelingses nor addition of puncts
I turned off comments because people can feel very strongly about this topic and all of us hate seeing people hurt each other.
