ouch? shen qingqiu was so despairing but trying to be the nonchalant, cool master, and i saw through it EVERY time. you can't fool me you sad, pathetic, longing little man. why is shen qingqiu the most widow to ever widow? every time luo binghe was not all over him, i felt like i was going crazy! where's the crazy, obsessive, insane shizunfucker i know?! cruel and mean and awful, and why was i about to cry at times? why would you do this?!
just too good. perfect. thank god it had a happy ending. i might have had to commit crimes otherwise. i love the shen qingqiu characterization, this is exactly how he acts, haha.

i feel like this handled a lot of important topics really well, which i'm so impressed with. i also love the writing style. i don't know how to to explain it, but this is perfectly blended between modern-xianxia worlds. i also love how luo binghe is written in this!
super fun to read. you know how you can sometimes tell that the author is intelligent just based on the writing style alone? yeah. hilarious, but really insightful at times, which i didn't expect at all, and peak emotions. definitely 10/10.

Wei Wuxian opens his mouth to say "Two, please, auntie," in an effort to save Lan Wangji's reputation, but before the words leave his mouth, Lan Wangji says,
"One."
Both Wei Wuxian and the landlady stare at him. It's clear that the landlady is trying to figure out if this upright-looking cultivator is the one actually taking advantage of a scrawny omega with donkey shit on his boots, but Wei Wuxian isn't much less confused.

OH MY GOD. i felt sick with sadness for mo xuanyu. this author is insane. how could you do this? how could you do it so well? mo xuanyu, you poor thing! (っ ;°Д °;)っ
i love the structure as well, so good for showing the contrasts. this was really well thought out, touched on a lot of meaningful symbols and moments that really just make you nauseous with grief for mo xuanyu but also hope and happiness for wei wuxian. they both deserve so much.
that poor boy, who thinks of himself so awfully. i hope he's at peace at how much wei wuxian has achieved and is loved in his body, even if he never got to experience anything of the same himself.
