  The diplomats from Fódlan came with both fascinating information and extra assassination threats. 

  The latter wasn't their fault, but killing the half-Fódlani prince while they were here made a statement. Khalid knew he had to be extra careful these next few days; between eavesdropping on the meetings, he took refuge with a book and a knife in his usual hiding spot, now growing crowded as his limbs began to lengthen. 

  That was where he found her, curled up in a fluffy white ball.

  Everyone living here has different names for it, but the emperor down south wrote it as Leicester on the map, so it became Leicester.
