See- something that my love Peter Nureyev and my. good friend Jet Sikuliaq have in common is that they both fall neatly into my type: Dangerous. Strong. Intimidating. Hands that could just as easily hold me together or snap my neck, depending how merciful they're feeling.
If I'm being completely honest I doubt it was this conversation that tipped Nureyev off, he's probably had his suspicions for a while. It's not like I'm going around trying to kiss the guy, I just appreciate what I'm looking at alright?

It struck Caspar, all of the sudden, that Leif was never a quiet man. Leif was never afraid to speak his mind, always found a space for himself in the world if he tried, and literally could not whisper to save his life. Leif was a loud guy; and as it turned out, this fact felt so natural and right that Caspar never fully realised it until this moment. This moment, where the loudness he came to expect was beaten and shriveled into short, hushed, fragile replies.
