Summary
Remus Lupin never thought he would get to go to Hogwarts. His mother had taught him all she knew about the wizarding world, including the existence of Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic. However, she also taught him how disliked werewolves were, and that he had to keep his condition a secret. He assumed he would not be invited to attend the school, despite obviously having magic (unless there is some other way his homework could turn purple just because he was frustrated with it). Then, one evening he was proven wrong. When Albus Dumbledore himself shows up at his doorstep, well, Remus wasn't exactly going to reject the opportunity to attend the school.
This work is inspired by 'All the Young Dudes' by MsKingBean89, with some glaring differences. If you haven't read it yet, I greatly suggest it!!

They’re almost to the dorms when Falin lets out a loud gasp, so abruptly that Marcille’s hackles raise; she’s whirling around on instinct, wracking her brain for her catalogue of defensive spells, only to stop short as she watches Falin drop into another crouch. It muddies her sleeves again instantly. Her one saving grace is that her hair is short enough not to brush the ground when she curls over like a shrimp.
“Um,” Marcille starts, blinking. “Falin, what are you doing?”
“Worm,” Falin says, by way of explanation, and holds up her cupped hand to reveal, indeed, a worm.
So, like.
Marcille had thought earlier that she prefers Falin’s fascination with bugs to the one she has with monsters, and this is—true. She also doesn’t mind bugs, in that she’s never been particularly squeamish and some of them can actually be a little cute, once you get over all the legs.
She’s sort of failing to see the significance of the little guy there, though.

Laios never meant to develop a reputation as a monsterfucker novel writer, but it had just sort of ended up happening, and his editor Kabru is dragged along for the ride.
