Katsuki comes from a long generation of dragon Riders. His mother is a Rider. Her father was a Rider. Her father's /father/ was a Rider, and so on, until his bloodline can be directly traced to one of the First Six who were ever brave enough (see: /crazy/ enough) to ride the first dragons.
Katsuki's always craved the power, the /freedom/ of the Riders Quadrant. And to potentially bond with a dragon? Even if it means maybe being burned alive? Worth it.
Plus Katsuki looks fucking good dressed in black.

Summary
There are a lot of things that Dazai is yet to bear witness to. An elephant wearing a fez and doing the dabke, for example. Kunikida without that giant stick up his ass. A will to live.
These are all things that Dazai hasn't ruled out seeing yet, for who knows where the world will take him. The one thing, however, that he was almost positive he would never have to see, is Chuuya Nakahara getting shot.
It's a concept so implausible, that his first thought is to question if there is someone with an ability that is able to create a mirage and he is simply hallucinating.

The first time Katsuki’s dragon had licked him, he’d been in his full form.
Half the time Eijirou acted like one of the dogs Katsuki’s mother kept at the barbarian encampment, and while he’d been rightly disgusted, he hadn’t seen fit to berate the shifter more than he usually would for doing strange shit. Dragons were odd, ethereal creatures, and their shifter-kin no functionally different.
The second time, however, he probably should have put a stop to the behaviour; for the sake of his sanity, if not cleanliness.

Eijirou brought his hands to his head and groaned.
Waking up from cryosleep was always nasty business, but he’d gotten used to it after being put under a few dozen times. Back home, it had been a controlled process, with a whole crew of scientists monitoring him as the cryochamber systematically thawed him and woke him up in stages.
But this time, the ship had overridden that process, thawing him much too quickly and forcing him awake to flashing lights, a blaring alarm, and the words “HYDRAULICS SYSTEM FAILURE'' blinking red on the piloting screen. He’d had no choice but to pilot the ship to the nearest planet, through an unfamiliar atmosphere, before crashing and then stuttering to a halt on rocky terrain.
Hopefully, this was the right planet. A nice, habitable planet. One with air and water and optimal atmospheric conditions.
Astronaut Kirishima ends up stranded and alone on an uninhabitable planet. As his supplies dwindle and his sanity slips away, he finds help from an unlikely source.

Jeeze. It’s manly to talk about your feelings, but maybe that’s a lesson in manliness that Bakugou didn’t get well enough.

Hell he could kill whoever would do something to any of his kids. His eyes trailed back to Shinsou, crumpling the paper in his hands when Kaminari stepped back as well. Which pulled his attention to Bakugou, who had one hand wrapped around himself protectively and was wiping away his tears with the other. Aizawa couldn't be certain, he hadn’t really seen the boy move while he was looking at the other side of the room, but all of the sudden they all felt so far away.

Rule 72A was for ensuring that pro heroes didn’t suffer from the occasionally extreme mental load of their work by allowing emergency responders to assign a 24hour watch over heroes they believed ‘at risk’.
When this rule is applied to Bakugo after a run in with a villain with a Nightmare quirk, he is not at all pleased, all he wanted was to go home by himself and try and forget everything that'd happened. But turns out when that rule means having Kirishima with him, it is exactly what he needs.
