“I do recall,” The red and blue bot hummed and stared up. The ceiling was an indestructible glass that allowed them to see into the night sky, so while the locker room may not have been the most romantic place to be, it was a good view. Little did Optimus know that rather than staring at the stars like he was, Sentinel’s optics were glued to him instead. “You wore me down.”
“Nah, I’m just that great to be around.”
Usually at this point, Optimus would clap back, saying something about how stupid Sentinel was or how he himself was just too nice to put up with the older bot, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it this time.
“You truly are, dear friend.”

His fixation with Sentinel had gotten bad since the Prime had come to earth, to the point that he had memorized the outline of those rough lips and burned the scent of the older bot into the back of his processor.
But no, it wasn’t because he had a crush on Sentinel Prime, his former sergeant, like everyone teased him for.
Instead, it was because of how in love he was with Optimus Prime, one of his closest friends and the leader of his repair-team-turned-squad-unit.

Once he has mastered the whole thing and got used to his new reformated body, that's it. Unfortunately, Sentinel didn't do his researches before agreeing to being changed into a Seeker. He really should have read that report on full flying frames a bit more closely before jumping on the occasion to show up to his former/sort-of friend. At the very least, he shouldn't have skipped the part about reproduction, because now, he's about to get a little surprise...Series

Sentinel kept Optimus from being too soft in his rule, and Optimus reminded Sentinel that subtleness was important in certain contexts. They balanced each other out perfectly in terms of work.
They just didn’t talk, which was what hurt Optimus the most.
