I... am definitely not on Amphoreus anymore, Cyrene thinks.
The last thing she remembers before being pulled into a swirling vortex was the panicked cries of her companions before it all went dark. A gloved hand had reached out to her, brushing against her fingertips, but just barely missed before she felt herself swallowed whole by the darkness.
Could this be another one of Lygus’ tricks? No, it seems unlikely. She can scarcely feel his looming presence here, where the air is still with memory and unfamiliar machinery hums quietly in the background.
“Hi♪ Did you miss me~?” A mysterious voice, oddly similar to her own echoes throughout the space.
Cyrene tenses at the sudden interruption. She looks around for the source of the voice, but to no avail.
“Hm? Oh, you’re not Mei…” the voice mumbles to themself in confusion. “Don’t worry, just follow my voice to return to reality~”
With seemingly no other choice in sight, Cyrene wields her ceremonial blade and steps forward.

“Okay, guys! No more being grumpy,” Shelby exclaimed. “It’s beach time!”
The two oldest vampires leveled her with an unimpressed look.
“Shelby, this is a lake.”

I will let you be.”
Or: without their intention, but it starts badly, only to have it even worse, until they both break... Until, eventually, AI and Old Man realise their own feelings. Void takes care of this stupidly selfless altruistic idiot—and Welt returns the favour
