Summary
Rean, a vampire hunter raised by a division of the Septian Church called the Black Workshop, has only known this way of living for as long as he can remember. His whole life gets turned upside down, when he becomes involved with a pure blood called Crow, who absolutely won't leave him alone. He doesn't understand why the vampire would be so interested in him, but it certainly changes his life in ways he never would have dared to imagine.
And of course, there is always the omnipresent issue of his cursed blood -- the sole reason why he is known as Ashen Demon in certain circles. Cursed blood that seems to attract vampires for its potency compared to regular blood.
Can he trust the vampire? Or is he better off believing the Chief, who had told him that no one should be trusted?
