Miya has always pretended to be someone else for his parents. But they always pretended to him, too. They were just shit at doing it. Sneaking out was usual for him, and this night was no different. So why did everyone make it such a big deal? It wasn’t as though his parents were hurting him. On purpose anyway. Cherry and Joe wouldn’t let Miya have peace ever since they caught him in the alleyway that night.
But… If he was being honest, he was a tad bit thankful. Miya didn’t like being alone.

The last thing Clover saw was the bright red lights as he cowered in the Shields room. The asteroid belt had been hurtling towards the ship faster than he could conceive, his vision already slipping in and out of focus. He heard stern yelling from Navigation, probably Raven directing Valentine and Lavender. Raven was a great leader, but there was no use. The best option they had was to brace themselves, as he was doing, pinned in a corner by the sensors. He had grown used to keeping down the panic in his throat, but he felt himself gasp for air the moment he blacked out.

The Skeld finally breaks through the atmosphere, tearing through space away from facility SDSB. 8 crewmates head home, unprepared for what the journey holds. Even so, they never want to go back there. But being trapped on a ship where the ghost of trust hides in its own shadow… children who had been raised with each other since they were young have to question their trust in one another.

Reki knows his soulmate's name is Langa, but also knows it's very unlikely that snowboarding star Langa Hasegawa is his soulmate. Still, he keeps up on news about the guy and when he learns that Langa's father was killed in an accident, he starts sending him letters. Drawings, really, that he can't admit to himself are love letters. He just hopes they brighten Langa's day, if he's receiving them at all.
Everything gets turned upside-down, however, when that same Langa Hasegawa suddenly transfers to Reki's school. It'll make giving him the anonymous love letters a bit easier, though...
