“Look, I’m just asking, okay? Not– I don't mean anything by it. But, uh.” His eyes darted back and forth, then he leaned in close to Steve. Steve had gotten used to that, kind of. The guy had no concept of personal space. “Are you flagging?” Eddie finally finished.
Steve shook his head slowly, eyes narrowed. He had no idea what that meant. He had no answer. “What?”
Eddie leaned away from Steve, facing forward again and nodding. “Okay, got it. That answers my question. Carry on.”

It's been one year since the defeat of Vecna and Steve Harrington is throwing a pool party. Over the past year, Eddie Munson has noticed a change in the way Steve dresses. The once confident and comfortable Steve has become conservative and guarded. Eddie finally notices at the pool party when Steve wears something out of character. He tries to talk to Steve, thinking the worst but gets a lot more than he bargained for.

But when Robin Buckley bails, he's stuck with his ex girlfriend's boyfriend, and the guy who makes it his personal mission to annoy Steve at every turn. Frankly, it would be a miracle if he managed not to drown Eddie Munson in the lake before their two weeks were up.

Clementine no, Tommy said something he wasn’t supposed to. He waited for Phil’s face to contort into a disgusted expression, but it never came. Instead a confused look settled on the shorter man's face.
