    Except that the Wisteria Sharehouse is full of nosy, noisy people who seem to think their child-prodigy housemate who'd really rather be left alone is the most interesting person in the world.

    So really, what did he expect them all to do when they found out about his favorite hobby?

    (OR: put seven Hashira in a modern-day university sharehouse with a teenage prodigy who just wants to go look for some birds, and you get...well, chaos, probably. Probably chaos.)

    Yuichiro wasn’t a chosen one. He didn’t have the strength to be kind, to save others. But he was an older brother, if only by a few minutes. So for Muichiro’s sake, he would find the strength he needed, in order to save the only family he had left.

    Muichiro may be a demon, but that did not make him a monster. His memories were shrouded in mist, but he remembered his rage, and he remembered Yuichiro, his brother. And he would protect him, no matter what.

    Tanjiro dropped to his knees and bowed until his head touched the ground. "Thank you, Doctor!" he cried. "Thank you so much for helping our family! I swear, as the eldest son, I will work to pay off any medical debts for as long as it takes! Even if it takes my whole life, I'll do it gladly! Thank you!"

    To his surprise, the doctor didn't respond, and Tanjiro raised his head. Yoriichi's cheeks were flushed slightly, and he was holding his hands up in an anxious protest. "There is no debt to pay," he insisted in a voice that was as soft as his scent. "You owe me nothing."

     

    A slayer of old is reincarnated. Haunted by memories that he doesn't understand of blood and regret, he vows never to hold a blade and takes up the mantle of a healer instead.

    The sun rises too early during Akaza’s showdown at the Mugen train, and he retreats to the shadows before he can finish Kyojuro off. However, when Muzan’s punishment brings back his stolen memories, his world explodes into color and emotion as he tries to relearn how to be human. And it’s possible that his newfound drive to destroy his old master is the final piece in the puzzle the corps has been looking for.
    Hakuji finds a calling, Shinobu finds a test subject, and Kyojuro finds a friend with whom to share the joy of living. The tide of fate is turning, and the newly strengthened Slayer Corps is ready to ride it all the way.

    Several months have passed since the attack on the Swordsmith Village, and Muzan has yet to make his next move—until now.

    When the Hashira begin disappearing one by one, they’re presumed dead. It is better than the alternative, a fate worse than death itself.
