He tried to open his eyes but he couldn’t, the world was still black. He tried again feeling a little more coherent but still nothing. He didn’t want to disturb his love that was resting beside him but he was starting to panic, he tried to move his arm but nothing happened. He tried to scream for help but the only sounds were the beeping and what he knew to be Sanji still sleeping.
What the fuck was happening ? Was he fucking dead ? Why couldn’t he move, or fucking see anything ?

What he really needed right now was a different kind of smoke. The kind Usopp, Franky and he would sneak on occasion when they landed on an island. Thriller Bark was an absolute mess, so the last time he was able to partake in the Devil’s Lettuce was at the giant party they threw back on Water 7. It’s not like he got high all the time, it was a pretty rare occasion for the three of them to get the chance. But he did like how it loosened him up a little and took a much needed edge off of his anxieties. Seeing as he is just walking in circles around the galley, chain smoking and trying to beat out the constant loop of persistent memories that keep replaying in his mind, now seemed like one of those occasions.

Sanji had never seen such a cute little present in all her life (well aside from her beautiful Nami and Vivi and even the cause of all her pain and woes her Baby was undeniably stunning) … but this present was so cute and nicely wrapped Sanji couldn’t take her eyes off of him. A thick leather collar around his neck, with a heavy looking lock and metal chain connected to it. She should have known from the fine leather detailing on the collar and from the gag tied around the sub’s green haired head - an interesting color choice but he looked young enough for it to make sense.
