After weeks worth of in-situ observation, Nahyuta had Simon's schedule down to the minute. So, Nahyuta knew where to create a pocket in his own schedule for resting his eyes—to shake away the strain from the screen and ease them on a lone samurai.
The said samurai allowed only a two minute variance to his schedule. But despite the fact that Simon was still five odd minutes far from rolling in the parking lot and despite the sputtering demise of air conditioning in the prosecutor's office, Nahyuta had been perched on the scorching pantry's window since the last twenty minutes.
Sipping the watery remnants of his lemon iced tea in such a sweltering situation, Nahyuta had not expected to acquire a new taste. Yet he had ended up acquiring one—the taste for yearning.

After years of legal complications, it's finally time for the reading of Manfred von Karma's final will and testament. In need of some moral support, Edgeworth requests that Phoenix supply his 'consultation services' and accompany him to the von Karma family estate in Germany (despite having been disbarred for two years and just about zero knowledge of inheritance law).
Sure, Phoenix had been expecting to deal with the ensemble of judgey relatives (not literally, thank god), jetlag, crushing homesickness for his daughter, and even von Karma's tragic interior design choices. A whole murder case, however? That he hadn't accounted for. (Which, in retrospect, may have been a bit of an oversight because he and Edgeworth really do seem to be magnets for this kind of thing...)

This story takes place 3 years after Phoenix Wright's disbarment and "Ace Attorney Investigations : Collections".
Miles Edgeworth starts to visit occasionally Phoenix to request his aid on some of his cases he received in Europe and to check on him and Trucy. Miles is still not aware what fully happened the day Phoenix got disbarred. He only knows from him that he's now working at the Borsh Club bar as a pianist and vaguely shared his suspicion toward the defense attorney, Kristoph Gavin. However, since this regrettable event, Phoenix's habit to conceal his feelings and opinions got even more considerable than it used to, which is getting on Miles' nerve.

This is an awful plan.

It would be nice, having a friend. A shoulder to cry on, an anchor to steady you. Yusuke desperately wanted a friend, but they hardly deserved such luxuries. Anyone who answered the call for a hit without hesitation was incapable of understanding concepts like love and friendship. Yusuke made peace with the fact that, when choosing to enact their revenge, they’d traded any semblance of normalcy for a sharper blade, a gun with more ammo, and a second, darker mask to wear atop their old one.
Yusuke wasn’t fit to play the role of the unlikely ally, but they could fake it anyway. They were bold, brash, bitter—not to mention a terrible actor—but they could try, under the pretense that the end was right around the corner. Sakamoto just had to get used to a girl who wasn’t used to… this. The feelings weren’t genuine, no, but perhaps it could be fun, or at the very least tolerable, while it lasted.
And it wouldn’t last.

They tended to be raised patches of skin, sometimes slightly red or brown, and tough like scar tissue. A person’s mark was as unique as a fingerprint. When the marks of both were placed atop one another, they’d form a solid, black circle, the lines of one filling in the gaps of the other.
Akito gave up on soulmates a long time ago. The religious zealots could scream all they wanted, but some stupid birthmark wasn't going to tell him what to do. Plus, he'd seen the fallout, seen matches go wrong and right and the unpredictability was not something he found appealing.
Until he found himself falling for his best friend. Then the whole idea seemed a little less stupid.
