Summary
Midway through their ambitious debut, Lelio, Lestat de Lioncourt jokingly stated that “only the impossible can do the impossible”. Whilst the original quote can be attributed to de Lioncourt discussing his relationship with photographer and writer Louis de Pointe du Lac, I’m happy to repeat it to describe their new album WolfKiller. Drawing on both de Lioncourt’s classical musical training and the dark guitar heavy themes from Lelio, WolfKiller, is a record that kicks and screams itself to be heard.

They’re in a bar somewhere along Bourbon Street, and Louis can feel the bass racing through his bloodstream. There’s alcohol on his tongue, coating the back of his teeth, some sweet cocktail Daniel had abandoned. It makes an unwelcome change from the drink he’d been previously drinking, strong, bitter and whiskey based, bought for him by Lestat before they’d twirled off onto the dancefloor.
And Lestat.
God Lestat, bound in pink leather topped with a pair of white combat boots, an outfit that whilst not one Louis would ever pick he was very excited to peel off Lestat when they got back to their apartment. Or in the bar’s bathroom. More than likely in the bar’s bathroom, if their history was anything to go by.

At least that’s what she tells herself as she throws another shot back. She downs the drink and tries to ignore the shouts of the other patrons of the bar behind her, the vodka burns her throat but she embraces it and tells herself that she’s not a bad person. For the first time in years Sonya’s drinking to forget. For the first time in years Sonya’s drinking by herself. For the first time in years Sonya doesn’t care how much money she spends, only that the alcohol she buys helps her forget.
Andrey isn’t here. No one can find him. Why can no one find him?

Aziraphale is a PhD student who needs a roommate so he can continue to afford his house in the U.S. capital of Washington D.C. Luckily, the family he tutors for on the side just happened to find him one! He doesn’t think he will like him much since he is in the states to work on Mr. Dowling’s senate campaign, so he’s probably a terrible person (even if he is good looking).
Crowley is pretty independent and doesn’t really have a lot of what you would call “friends”. But he doesn’t mind his new roommate. He would much rather hang out with him than his coworkers, anyways. His roommate’s best friends Anathema and Newt aren’t too bad, either. It’s nice to have some friends. Maybe he likes it in D.C.

It had all started out as an accident, honestly. Aziraphale never intended for there to be such confusion. And really, he couldn’t be blamed for his students jumping to conclusions, so it wasn’t exactly his fault. Now, he couldn’t quite speak for Crowley, but he had never set out to do anything particularly crafty.
If it had become a sort of game over the years, it was completely unintentional.
And if the university staff had started taking bets, it really couldn’t be helped.
