Summary
Giles and Faith return from Rome, a new tension between them. Before they have a chance to really work it out, they are settled with a new Slayer, Teenie, who proves to be more of a challenge than either of them were expecting. All the while, there is dark activity on the horizon: Anti-Slayer sentiment is growing, and vampires are getting more ballsy. Faith and Giles are reminded that the world is a dark, unforgiving place, and that they may have nothing if they don’t have one another.

Summary
Faith deals with the new rift between her and Giles.
-
She had thought that a good fuck would help take the edge off—and it had, to some extent. The fire that had been blazing under her skin ever since she watched Giles walk out of the club had dimmed a bit, but she was still left with an uncomfortable buzz, like her whole body was subtly vibrating.
At least her head was a bit clearer. She could think straight. Figure out what she was going to do. She had options:
One: Pack up her shit and leave. No note, no apologies.
Two: Pack up her shit and leave. A note. No apologies.
Three: Tell G to his face that she was done with this. Pack up her shit and leave.
Four: Do nothing. Wait for G to come back in the morning and return to England with him. Pretend it never happened.

Summary
Between wayward Slayers, Faith and Giles take a break to do some demon-hunting. They travel to Italy, where they run into a figure from Giles’ past— and Faith finally gets the skinny on Ripper.

“You’re a slick cat, I get it. And obviously you two,” Faith nodded at Giles, “have beef. But I don’t really care; I just wanna know where the nest is. So, why don’t you pony up and tell me, stud?” At that, she curled her lip, giving Ethan a flirty, dangerous smile.Ethan returned the look. “And what do I get in return, love?”
Faith batted her eyelashes. “You get to keep your skeleton in 206 pieces.”

Fandom Hannibal (TV), Hannibal Lecter Series - All Media Types, Hannibal Lecter Tetralogy - Thomas Harris

Summary
An experiment of sorts, in rewriting scenes or instances from Hannibal's first season. This is my take on what might have happened if Will's tendencies were not all-together empathetic, coming instead from a darker place in his psyche. Hannibal serves to push things gently along.
All works are connected, and thus should probably be read in consecutive order to avoid confusion. None of these are happy. Some of them contain sex, violence, and rape. You have been warned (at least violence is par for the course).

Faith and Giles' Halfway House for Wayward Slayers by stereokem
Fandom Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV)
03 Mar 2022
Summary
In the aftermath of “No Future For You” Giles and Faith start up their rogue slayer rehab program, outcast from Buffy’s good graces. They learn to work together, live together, mentor together, and trust one another. Unsurprisingly, they have some intense conversations, largely revolving around the one person they are both trying to avoid: Buffy. In a strange way, their mutual difficulties with Buffy eventually bring Giles and Faith very close.

Every piece in this series can be stand-alone, but is probably more fun if you read them in order. This consists of the Kingsman fics where Eggsy's foul language is either the focus of the fic, or features prominently.

Summary
"Can I say something ghoulish?" Robby asked, soft in that way he got when he was ashamed of himself.
"Brother, you can say anything you want," Jack shot back, easy.
"You know what I mean."
"Aren't we past this? Like, years past this? And besides, I've seen into the deepest, darkest, blackest pit of human depravity; if you say anything that even rates, I will be impressed."

Summary
When Robby turns, Jack is standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe.
Neither of them speaks. Jack is staring at him in that way– the way he looked that night, twenty fucking years ago, all unreserved heat and everything unspoken.
He pushes off the doorframe and moves forward.

Summary
So in the sweet post-divorce spot, when Frank starts to feel a tug in his heart that tells him that his feelings for Mel are starting to take a turn, he is determined not to listen to them, because he doesn't want to fuck up that relationship, too.
If there is anything that can be said about Frank Langdon, it is that he is stubborn. Unfortunately, in his stubbornness, he misses five very vital clues that tell him that he is being a moron.
(Or: 5 times Frank missed the fact that Mel was really trying to give him a big old clue.)

A beat, then, “How does Dr. King feel about company?”
“Dr. King isn’t sold on company generally speaking,” she says, then realizing his implication, has to bite back a grin. “She doesn’t mind her friend Dr. Langdon, though.”
Mel finds solace in sitting on the rooftop following some of the ED’s hardest moments. Langdon joins her.
