The Magical OSHA fic, aka Workplace Safety Hazards
Cody’s routine inspections as a Safety Officer for the Occupational Spells and Hexes Administration have been increasingly disrupted by the presence of a man called Ben. He's being completely normal about it.
“Absolutely not.” Cody said, despairingly, thinking of the paperwork this would entail. He then guiltily checked behind him to see if he had been followed, and let himself into the office more fully.
“Safety Officer Fett,” the menace greeted. “I heard there was an inspection today, I had hoped it would be you.” He was clearly on an infiltration, dressed in the business casual style favoured by the middle management mages of today’s company, Henderson Magyk Solutions. Cody eyed the satchel likely brimming with stolen evidence, and sighed.
“You are the most complicated part of my job,” Cody informed him mournfully, making a note on his report.

“You said,” the baby Sith starts again, his voice cracking right down the middle. Stopping, he takes a pained sounding breath, almost a wheeze, and starts again. “You said if I needed help, if I needed a different option, you could provide assistance. That I could come to you, if I didn’t know what to do. If I didn’t have anywhere else to go.”
Those godsdamned yellow eyes, one almost swollen shut, are filled with legitimate tears. Anakin can’t stop looking at him, drawn into the glow of them like gravity.
With a smirk that looks like it hurts, the broken and battered Sith across from him opens his pretty, bloody mouth and sends Anakin’s hopes for a peaceful night directly into the stratosphere.
“Well, it appears that I need help.”

Bruised and broken and drugged, the Sithling Anakin's been dealing with for months shows up at the Temple asking for help. Anakin takes care of him in more ways than one.

Ayasa awakens in a forest that he definately did not fall asleep in. With his family dead, his village razed, and absolutely no idea where he is, he's forced to call upon powers that he's tried to hide his entire life. He doesn't understand why a god could love him so much that they would bless him and simultaneously bring him into a galaxy that would rather see him dead than anything else.
Jaster and crew find a child covered in filth and barely able to stand. He won't say where he's from or how he got there and he's surprised by things like electricity, but the Mandalorian need to proct him is stronger than any strange thing he could possibly throw at them. That doesn't mean it's an easy path or that things even make sense but a child in need is a child all the same.
