Summary
After a recent falling out with his assistant, Stanford Pines is left alone in his cabin with only his Muse to keep him company. He doesn't mind it so much. His Muse is a god, one he's all too keen on worshipping.
Stan Pines has been on the run for too long, so he's got one last option: visiting his brother. He didn't want to stoop so low, to be the one to break no contact first, but he'd exhausted almost every option. Even if he didn't let him stay, he hoped he could at least make amends before going to his failsafe.
This fic shouldn't be super long! I know where I want to go with it, but it won't update super regularly. The chapters will vary in length a LOT, mostly just whenever I can pull my thoughts together, I'll update.
Billford is tagged bc it's heavily prominent, though this is more of a Stan Bros fic than anything else. Just a heads up! There will be plenty of Billford as well :) -

Theraprism was torture; if you took all of the fun out of it, anyway. The routine and comfort didn't sit right with Bill, and he certainly didn't like how much they tried to pry into his past. How's the saying go? Don't kick a rotting horse! Not unless you want maggots and mold in your shoes.
Luckily for Bill, the great Axolotl has offered a new form of rehab. Some community service on Earth--if he can play nice and prove he's 'healed', then he can go back to his old existence.
How hard could that be for a god like him?
The Axolotl has a trick up their sleeve, though. They sent Bill to work at the one place he thought he'd never step foot in again: The Mystery Shack.
And he wasn't himself--no, he was forced into a meat sack with none of his former powers. That didn't matter though, right? He'd tricked three of the Pines family members already. He knew he'd be able to do it again.This takes place the summer following the end of season 2. Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford have all come back to Gravity Falls to spend the summer together.

Stanford Pines has a dilemma.
Ford is working on a portal with his Muse, the most important project he's ever done. This is what his entire life has led up to. He's eager to get back to work on it; perhaps not as much as his Muse.
He hasn't been able to work on this project for well over six months, seeing as due to a biological experiment gone awry, the entirety of Gravity Falls, and perhaps beyond, is overrun with zombies. Ford and his assistant, Fiddleford, have been stuck in the bunker away from their research.
They need to find a cure but will need to venture out to find the means to.Stanley Pines has a problem of his own.
After a concerning call from his brother, he opts to pay him a visit, worried for his mental health. He was not expecting the zombies, nor the other weirdness the town has to offer.A zombie apocalypse AU about brotherhood and unconditional love. And a lot of angst.

Summary
A few years since Weirdmaggedon, Stanford Pines has fallen into what can only be described as the World's Worst Spiral. His brother, of course, doesn't trust him. Fiddleford wants nothing to do with him. And throughout all his luck, Bill Cipher is here. He can't remember exactly how that thing got here, he just appeared. Ford can't trust anyone, but maybe he can trust Bill. After all, that's what he deserves. No sane human would want him. Which leaves him balancing the fear of his family and babysitting a millions-year-old demon, while also trying to solve all of the mistakes he had left in his way.

Red shrugged. "Dunno. I prefer we just wait and see wherever it goes."
Duck shivered at the suggestion.
"We need to call it something. Or we won't do it at all."
He crossed his arms and knocked his heels together, assuming the sturdy posture of a much surer man. The giant considered him from above.
"Okay," he offered, "up to you then."
Duck looked out past the tree, took time to consider, then glanced back up to Red.
"Our Situation."
"Our situation?"
"You want to keep it secret from the other one for whatever reason. So we'll be vague. You like to be vague."
OR: Since the events of episode 6, Duck has picked up on a change in the red one's behavior. Specifically, towards him. While the beast's internal workings befuddle him, he's intrigued by the prospect of developing their relationship (whether Red wants to call it that or not). But how is romance meant to be properly navigated? Maybe he can get some guidance from a couple new educational friends?
