The Protectors: Darcy Lewis, Jane Foster, Pepper Potts, Laura Barton, Shuri of Wakanda, Sharon Carter, Betty Ross, and Hope Van Dyne, with support from the Vision and Thor (and occasionally Rhodey and Peter Parker), and Tony Stark as their mentor/team benefactor/much loved friend.
This series was begun before much was known about T’Challa and Shuri. Accordingly, Shuri has been aged up.

Summary
Steve Rogers was the last one to see Tony Stark, after the battle of Siberia. Nobody saw him again. Without anyone to argue for the Accords, Steve and his team managed to return, and SHIELD took over again. But the world is not happy. The people have lost their trust in heroes, and as Steve "saves" more people. Many more are hurt.
Fellow Billionaire Bruce Wayne realizes that it's time for new people to take the place of the disgraced Avengers. With his boyfriend Clark, and his friend Diana, he starts recruiting, as well as planning how to take down SHIELD and the Avengers. All when a new threat comes for Earth.
But in one of their recruitment missions. They find the hero that the world has been calling for, and discover that he has been hiding.....underwater ? And to make things more complicated, Tony is done with superheroing.
Will Tony join the league and return to the world ? Will Steve and co finally face consequences ? All will be resolved in the journey to unite the League.

Summary
One day, she appeared out of nowhere on the doorstep, naked, cold and crying, laid within a familiar bowl. A Bowl that turned out to be a Shield. What was a Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. to do except bring her in from the cold?
She grew up. Surrounded by people who appreciate genius, she doesn't hide, doesn't run away, but embraces it, leading her to joining the United States Navy as an Officer, at Seventeen years old.
She was trained in unarmed and armed combat from a young age by the best of the best - the Howling Commandos. Incidents with Russians become a little too not-rare, but over time becomes used to it, looking forward to it.
She took in an orphan herself, raised her as her own, and couldn't be prouder of the Specialist the little girl grew into becoming. Or more amused than she is at her Daughters' choice of paramour.

Natalia Carter... who knows what she wants, except to play matchmaker, and have time alone with her wife.Steve just wants to relax, slowly process, recover, and yes take the nurse on a date.
This is a story where they all get what they want. More or Less.
