“Shane,” he said, and wanted to sag against the glass with relief. “What happened? Is something wrong?”

Summary

His face crumpled. And for the briefest second, Rey was sure that peeking out from beneath the scarred face and the tousled hair matted with sweat and blood, and the heap of black clothing was the shattered husk of Ben Solo… betrayed, and confused, and denied yet again. The cracks that had rent through her heart when he'd begged threatened to open into fissures of grief and guilt, but she held her ground.
"No." she repeated, more gently and assuredly this time as she took a tiny step towards him. "No. No, this time you join me."

How could one night of letting loose end up with such a mistake? A combination of obsession and alcohol ends up with Rey in bed with her arch nemisis, resulting in a bond neither of them expected. Through it Kylo pursues Rey, deciding it to be the perfect tool and weapon against the jedi. While rey struggles to comprehend what it means for her future. Potential dark /grey Rey. Definite smut with more to come later. Really im just having fun exploring my idea of what a force bond is and where it can take these two so jump on and enjoy the ride. The power connection that pushed Kylo Ren and Rey together never stopped after Supreme Leader Snoke’s death. Instead their projected meetings grew more erratic and frequent. Almost daily one would accidentally reach for the other, they could not make it happen and they both found they could not predict or stop it.
Instead of the measured, sometimes sweet meetings they’d had in the past, the connections turned into vicious sniping matches, each blaming the other for their trapped bodies. If he hadn’t used the Force on her mind on Starkiller Base, if she hadn’t touched him, if only one would turn to the dark or the other to the light.

Technically, he’s right. She’s already agreed to stay on this Destroyer, to be taught, to work under his tutelage. But this is Finn. Her first friend. The one who came back for her when no one else had.
And Rey has noticed the way that Kylo watches her sometimes, when he thinks that she doesn't see. The way that he blatantly won't look at her when she's recently out of the 'fresher, or the way that he scrambled to cover her with his cloak when her shirt was once torn during a training exercise. “That’s not true,” she says, hands starting to shake. She still has one final card to play.
