“I know.” Teru smiles because he knows that they both know that Akane truly does know. He knows that Teru is cruel. He has seen the look on his face when he exorcises supernaturals. He is angry, bitter, and jealous. He is also exhilarated, gleeful, and euphoric. He wipes his mouth with the blood of the supernaturals he slaughters.
Akane isn’t a good person, either. Somehow, Teru is fine with that and is still willing to lay his heart out in front of him.

Dan Heng resists the urge to hug himself, instead keeping his arms firmly planted by his sides. He already feels a bit bare without the extra armor and accessories that usually adorn his person when he takes on the form of Permansor Terrae; something about donning this form outside of battle leaves him feeling a bit vulnerable. Although he is fully clothed in a high-neck black t-shirt and slacks, the way Blade’s golden eyes rake across his body makes him feel as if he is sitting on the mattress without anything on.
