Summary
Every spring that passed, Minho spent it cowering in his tiny little storm shelter under the stairs wondering if this was going to be it. Tornado regions are far bigger than a simple two hour radius, and Minho knows that it’s only luck that has allowed his home to be free of disaster. Some of the most famous, most prolific tornadic events in history, and Minho isn’t even a day’s drive away from them. Fuck, he’d been to Joplin on multiple occasions, both as a child and an adult.
Minho has known tornadoes with a degree of distance.
Or, southern local, Minho, teams up with weather intern, Seungmin, for the upcoming tornado season.
(Technically could be considered a Twister/Twisters AU if you squint)

Jisung isn’t—he wasn’t scared to leave his apartment at first. He still isn’t now! He just—he just doesn’t leave. Not because he can’t, mind you. It’s a choice. Completely voluntary. And! He can go grocery shopping, when he wants, and he only dies just a little bit inside every time he does, so he thinks it’s a fair trade. He has a job, he can finance his own life, he’s not living off his parents’ money. It’s fine.
Jisung can leave his apartment if he wants to.

Summary
“I don’t know if I could escape again,” Grian confesses, and Mumbo says-
“What if someone could find you?”
“What?”
Grian pulls away, and finally, this is something Mumbo can do with his hands. He leans back to look at him, eyebrows furrowing, and Mumbo rests his palms on Grian’s arms, holding him in place. “If you’re taken,” he says. “Would it be comforting to know that someone could find you?”
Grian laughs, and it’s not a good one, either, but it’s measures better than the hysterical one he’d let out earlier. “Mumbo, what?” he asks again. “I- I appreciate it, I do, but compasses are server-wide. They can’t even handle the Nether.” It’s not quite snarked but said with just enough of an 'I thought you knew this' tone that at any other time, it would be a hit to Mumbo’s redstoning ego.
“No, not a compass,” he dismisses. “You know, marriage. A spouse could find you anywhere. The whole… soul-bond thing.”
Okay, so he’s a redstoner, not a scientist.
Or: Grian has an issue. Mumbo proposes an... unconventional solution. There's no possible way marrying one another could go wrong.

The issue with Grian is this, he is far too easy to control. It’s a learned thing, a survival method.
Even the most brutish of killers will keep you around if you prove useful, even the most idiotic will see how you would be better alive than dead.
