His eyes practically went wide from happiness and surprise, studying the cat with one hand on his chin, deep in observation. It was a black cat that had these piercing eyes that seemed to stare right through him, as if it might read his thoughts. It was creepy but it was really something trivial that he noticed. “It’s a cat!” He notes his observation. He reaches over the swings to pet the cat who had skillfully climbed into Nene’s lap…
—and it bit him, hissing violently as it climbed even further up onto Nene, almost as if it was scared of him for some odd reason. He frowned, his fingers prickling with a bit of blood. Why did the cat absolutely seem to hate him and not Nene?
She chuckled, her eyes folding at the corners slightly and the faintest laughter appeared on her face. “Guess it just doesn’t like you, Tsukasa, then.” She suggested gently, but her face told a different story of smugness behind the action.”
Or, the thousands of times Tenma Tsukasa attempted to save Kusanagi Nene from a time loop where Nene is always destined to die, the millions of attempts he failed and the final attempt where he actually suceeded in saving her.

Honestly, it was just devastating at this point in time. A land corrupt to the native that was originally their own was displaced, everyone killed, any hint of tradition and life erased. It was eudamonic to even be alive and somehow find enough to eat in this society.
Many hid away in dark corners in their homes, those who hoped some form of revolution might occur one day and everything will come back to normal.
People died waiting for something, a spark of hope perhaps to see that society would somehow rebuild from the ground and take back what they had stolen.
But nothing happens.
Nothing ever does, of course.
It’s just silent, the few left obeying silently as to not die.
And this was just normal.

And yet, despite the fact staring at his old friends, that would forever be revived, stuck in time as robots to reach their initial goal as young highschoolers just having fun in a theatre troupe, waves of guilt still washed over him.
It was selfish to even think about doing this— nor go along with doing it. After all, now, what would Nene, Tsukasa and Emu ever think of him performing such drastic changes this late? Would they have remembered the day they all agreed on this backup plan? Would they understand that his plan wasn’t out of malice but rather out of remembrance?
But they were gone, just buried in caskets underneath funeral beds to reminisce about. That was all they now were when it came down to it. Just dead bodies in funeral beds never meant to perform another song together again. And dead bodies can’t articulate their feelings.”
But things happened to Wonderlands x Showtime, and in the end, there’s nothing left for humanity after the incident. So they’ll join hands now with nothing else left to do, to fullfill their original purpose: make eachother smile until the very end.
