It gave him no instincts to nest, purr, or submit as an omega should. It gave him a scent so citrusy people get confused. And worst of all, it made him so fertile he got pregnant during his first heat.

Erling had maybe (definitely) developed what could only be described as a massive fucking crush, not that he'd admit it to anyone."No one," Martin said, drawing out the words like he was making a dramatic announcement, "has ever bagged Bellingham. Not once. The guy's basically allergic to giving anyone below his iq level a chance. But you" he jabbed a finger into Erling's chest, "—If anyone could do it, it's you."
Erling's alcohol-drawned brain was already latching onto the challenge before Martin even finished.
"So what is the bet exactly?"
"One month. You get Bellingham to go out with you, really go out with you like proper dating and I'll give you a thousand bucks."
It was the most idiotic idea he's ever heard come out of Martin's mouth (and that's saying a lot), so like any sane person; Erling should just say no and move on with his life–"Deal."

Nobody else had burrowed under his skin like Haaland had. He was so far from his usual type, so friendly and stoic and cool-headed. God, Jude had liked him so much. He’d spent years making such a tit of himself trying to impress him, and what kept him on the backfoot was that he hadn’t needed to - Haaland had been his rock from the moment he joined the club. It was so easy, so effortless to slip into a routine, it unsettled Jude as much as it thrilled him. But he hadn’t liked how small Haaland made him feel. How out of control. The man was unflappable, impossible to provoke. Jude resented his own infatuation, the ever-swelling bubble of fondness he nursed for Erling, because he had no idea how to be with a man who didn’t fight back.
[The quarter-final looms. Jude hasn't seen Erling since their Dortmund days, and he still hasn't come to terms with his sexuality. Or his fondness for getting folded in half.]
