So, earlier today I went to the courthouse for my sister’s wedding, and I’m like 99.99% sure I saw Rose Landry and her boyfriend getting married(?). They were wearing matching outfits and looked so happy. She was holding a beautiful bouquet and they couldn’t stop smiling, like, look at her, she looks stunning! (I didn’t share earlier because I didn’t want people annoying them on their special day)

TMZ: X-SQUAD STAR ROSE LANDRY MARRIES HOCKEY PLAYER SHANE HOLANDER IN SECRET CEREMONY: photos, videos, and witnesses’ details.
As if on cue, Shane’s phone goes crazy. Messages from his agent, his teammates, the press, and his parents. He ignores them,
“W-what the fuck? What’s happening?”
“Someone… oh my god, someone took pictures of us yesterday and…crap.”

OR: Shane and Rose attend a friend's secret wedding. Someone takes pictures, and the internet assumes they were the ones getting married. Ilya hasn't spoken to Shane since the tuna melt day... and now the whole internet is saying he's married to Rose Landry.
The All-Star weekend is about to get really interesting.

Summary
He wishes he had more practice interacting with normal families. Surprisingly, it’s David who speaks first.
“I should cook something,” he says with a soft smile,
“What?”
David empties what remains in his glass and smiles at Ilya, “Hockey isn’t the only thing those two have in common. Both of them need some comfort food and their favorite drink after a stressful day.” he stands up,
“This is good to know, Shane sometimes stresses a lot,” Ilya finishes his drink as well, “can I help?”
Or: Yuna leaves the cottage, and Shane follows her, leaving a confused Ilya sitting alone with David Hollander for the first time. This has all the potential to become the most awkward conversation in Ilya's life, but instead... David asks him to make pasta with him.

“I don’t think I’m putting an ofrenda this year,” he avoids making eye contact with Buck when he says it,
“What, why?”
“Well, Chris… uh, he’s already doing that in El Paso with my parents. To be honest, I’ve just been putting the altar every year so that he can learn about our traditions and think about his mom… but if he’s already doing it, I think I can pass this year,”
And Buck wants desperately to call him on his bullshit because this is something Eddie loves, he used to do it even before Shannon died, Buck has heard Chris talk about it on countless occasions. He’s even seen a box labeled “Día de Muertos” in his basement, right next to the Halloween and Christmas boxes.
He’s almost sure this is Eddie punishing himself again…
“It’s the same with Halloween, I almost forgot to decorate this year, and I didn’t even bring out all of the boxes, there was no point,”
And now Evan Buckley is on a mission...
____________________Or: Eddie reveals he's not in the mood to celebrate Día de los Muertos this year and Buck makes it his personal mission to fix this because his best friend deserves to have nice things and celebrate one of his favorite holidays even if he's sad.

Summary
It takes a long list of weird dreams, a stubborn teenager, and a (minor) accident at work to help Eddie realize he loves Buck more than just a friend.
This series is mainly focused on that story in "I think I've been having revelations (and really weird dreams)" but there are also a few little things I wrote that can be read inside this universe - either after reading the first part of even separately without needing the context of it.
I don't know how often I'll post these, or how many there will be, I just wanted to put them here for the people who've been kind enough to leave their love in the comments... and also because I love reading Domestic Buddie and a little angst and miscommunication (in a story) never hurt anyone.

Summary
Buck hated hospitals. It made him think of his first date with Abby, of the truck bombing, of the embolism, of the tsunami. Just, a lot of bad memories, is all.
Which is why he had wanted to tell everyone so quickly. Just so he didn’t have to go to this appointment on his own. Last week he had gone alone, thinking it would be just another check up and then his doctor had looked at him with pity in his eyes and told him they’d found abnormalities in his blood work and they needed him to stop taking his blood thinners and come back in a week.
His doctor had been simultaneously vague and clear when he told him what they would be looking for. Listing all the possible reasons that his blood cell counts were off. But on that list was cancer and Buck knew that with his fucking luck, it would be that. The look on his doctor’s face made him think that he thought so too.

Buck had meant to tell everyone, he had, really. But they were angry with him and he didn't want them to forgive him just because he might be dying. He needed to fix things first.

The tears he bravely held back finally broke free from his eyes, sliding down his rosy cheeks from behind his glasses. He shook his head vehemently, the yellow crayon falling to the table. “No, I’m not mad. Please…” His words turned to whimpers, his lip trembling. “Please don’t leave me too.”

So it becomes a thing. ‘It’ being Buck coming the next night with an overnight bag, and then the night after that. ‘It’ being Buck finally deciding to take the extended leave, to all of their surprise. ‘It’ being Buck sleeping on his couch. Eddie starts every morning watching Buck teach Chris some new breakfast sandwich combo, the sunlight streaming in through the window turning them both golden so he couldn’t look away if he wanted to.
(And he doesn’t. It’d probably take nothing less than rapture for him to blink, and even then, Heaven could wait a few seconds.)
