In which Merlin is overwhelmed and underappreciated. Stretched thin between keeping the kingdom safe, playing the role of Arthur’s servant as well as the role of Gaius’ apprentice, and dealing with his magic, he snaps and quits. Arthur, of course, begins to realise the emptiness of life without Merlin. What follows is a mix of frustration, hurt, pining, and, finally, a reunion.
