“If you cover any more of yourself,” Mira said immediately, voice hoarse, “I’ll kill you.”
Then Zoey stepped forward with a look Rumi had only ever seen when she was eyeing a dessert tray. Or more accurately, when she was deciding where to start.
Or: Rumi’s been hitting the gym lately, and the girls have a visceral reaction to the changes.

After Jinx suddenly turns herself in, Vi is forced to consider a future where her sister will spend the rest of her life in Stillwater. Deep down, out of reach, beaten down between the same stone walls she suffered through for six years. Vi spent those years dreaming of the day she'd get back to her sister, and now, if she doesn't do something, right this moment, she's never seeing her again.
While Vi makes a plan to break Jinx out before she can go to trial, Jinx looks forward to seeing her own plan come to fruition. She's going to make the world pay.
A story about two sisters running away from it all and trying to be okay with each other.

“What do you think?”
“...Dust.”
“See? We’re the same, no need for questions we already know. I was going to reverse what happened but,” turning her head around, “There are a few things I want to try with this one.”

“Caitlyn!”
Caitlyn froze halfway across the porch. She whirled around, eyes frantically scanning the darkness at the sudden, desperate shout.
The Ford pickup had made it about a quarter of a mile down the winding dirt road, still idling with its red taillights lit up. The driver’s side door had been flung wide open.
Vi was running back to Caitlyn in a dead sprint.
Caitlyn’s blood began pounding in her ears once her heart kickstarted back to life. She raced off the porch, charging over the loose gravel of the driveway, dirt kicking up around her heels when she hit the main road.
The cheerleader kept going, legs churning, lungs burning, heart nearly ready to burst. She barely had time to brace herself for impact, mouth open as she panted from the exertion.
Vi collided with her. The force of it knocked the remaining air out of Caitlyn.
OR
Grease meets Arcane. Vi is the leader of her loyal high school gang, The Slicks. Jinx and her pals are the Blue Crew. Caitlyn is the new girl in town, just trying to find her place.

Ekko didn’t hear anything after ‘couples discount’, his mind zeroing in on those two words. Beside him, Jinx raised an eyebrow and looked off at something in the distance. Just one of the many looks she wore when she was thinking of something.
Ekko thought she was going to tell the nice, unassuming cashier that they weren’t actually a couple using roughly the same words that the two had to use on far, far too many people over the years that they weren’t dating. Whatever happened to a boy and girl just being best friends?
But instead, Jinx makes a big show of looping her right arm through Ekko’s left, both arms grabbing onto his arm, and flashing the cashier a sweet, innocent smile as her head came to rest on Ekko’s shoulder.
“Yep! Soooo happily in love. Ekko honey, be a dear and pay this nice cashier already?”

But when she awakes next morning, she finds a raven-haired woman in the place where the grimm is supposed to be, and suddenly Blake's plans don't seem as concrete as she once thought.
Her heart isn't helping matters, either.
