Summary
I understood that church was for people with built-in shame from a very young age. Mass and religion were made for people like my parents, and people like Eren Yeager. Growing up with Eren Yeager in the church was like being next to god himself. he was humble enough to trick the rest of our community, his parents, and the man he worships every Sunday, but not enough to trick me. I saw how prideful he became when his parents praised him, how greedy he became from the love of our community, the envy he would feel for his friend Armin when he succeeded past him, the gluttony I noticed after every bite of his food, the wrath he let go behind the safety of his bedroom door, and the sloth he showed after a long day of lies. But most sinfully, I saw the lust that spilled out of his car door when he thought no one was around to see.
