I'm a HUGE Dr. Stome fan with a massive, (pathetic), crush on our mad scientist Senku Ishigami. And because I can't find fanfic to calm my raging heart, I decided to write one!!!
As you can clearly see, I am unhinged. So expect this fic to follow suit ;)
This story follows our lovely reader who isn't a big fan of changes or anything that might disrupt her perfect little ecosystem. And needless to say, shit hits the fan when the ENTIRE FREAKING WORLD TURNS TO STONE. Now, she is working along with her fellow 21st-century people to restore what she once had.
Unfortunately for all of us, our cute little reader, (you), have an overwhelming desire to stay as far away as possible from our mad scientist, (Senku). Due to the fact that he alone is what seems to cause your world to change so much.
What will happen when you, for some twisted reason, become a deity of Ishigami village because of a poorly aged joke, and you are forced to stay by Senku’s side? Which causes a lot of arguing, banter, and maybe something more?

There are creatures there not quite animal and not quite Fae that roam the territory, haunting the woods day and night and making them a dangerous place for all unwelcomed. There is a singular house at the far end of a neighborhood in town with no other houses around it with the woods' tree line bordering in its backyard. It's been vacant for years. That is, until you buy it for a steal with no other explanation from the sellers other than it never sold. You are quickly told of the burden you have just bought yourself moving into this town. And these two feared creatures seem awfully interested in you.

It was no secret that the CEO of the company was potentially sketchy as all hell, but it was hard to ignore the 'Advanced Robotics Technician' job opening you found online.
Not many places needed a technician as skilled as you, but that didn't mean you were necessarily short on job opportunities. Were they worth it? No, not really. You made an alright amount of money, but you were downright miserable. You lacked mental stimulation- fixing WIFI routers and cell phones was not cutting it. Maybe moving half-way across the country was a bit of an impulsive thing to do, but you desperately wanted to do something new and exciting. ]
In a perfect world, your dream job isn't the death of you. It's too bad that perfection doesn't exist, but at least you're not alone.

Then there was the soft jingle of a bell from behind a tree. You froze, not realizing you had pulled the twig dolls out of your pocket and held it to your chest for comfort until the sharp edges stabbed your palm.
Something slowly poked its head out from around the tree, tall and lanky like a scarecrow. Its skin was yellow and its face looked like a mask that resembled a child's depiction of the sun; eyes large and milky white, a wide needle tooth grin stretching across its grimy face. It seemed to perk up as it got a better look at you and wickedly giggled.
