Rainbow starts coming to the farm on Saturdays. Then on weekdays. Then without being invited. Applejack starts setting an extra plate at dinner. Then remembering her game schedule. Then waiting on the porch when she's late.
Neither of them calls it anything.
That becomes the problem.

Once they made contact with his skin, a little zip bolted through his fingertips and over his nerves. They flinched and pulled their hands apart.
