Mack tastes like Gatorade and feels like forever and Will has gone through so many stages of panic and shock and anxiety in the last minute, that he doesn’t know where to begin to question it, but maybe he doesn’t have to, because Mack’s thumb is gently running back and forth on his cheek, and his arm is secure around Will’s waist, holding him. Mack is solid against, him, relaxed, like he knows exactly what he is doing.
It feels odd, being held together by Mack, because usually Will is the one keeping their pieces together, but it feels so right at the same time, that Will can’t even question it.
