Summary
The thing is, Lance doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing here. It’s been eight months and they’ve defeated more Galra outposts than he can count or remember, they’ve passed through six different quadrants and seen Zarkon in the flesh. In eight short months, Lance knows more about the universe than he ever would’ve hoped to learn in his entire lifetime on Earth.
Allura never said exactly what Blue wants from her Paladin, and everytime the question crosses his mind, there seems to be a cosmically timed by interference where they’re thrust back into the frays of battle and the question is wiped from his mind once more.
Allura calls them Paladins - so does the rest of the universe - but really, it’s a nice way of saying soldiers. He’s shot people. Numerous people. His guts have been spilt out on the floor beside him. That’s not something to forget.
(He tries.) (He can’t.)
So the big question is: out of all the people in the entire universe of billions and trillions of beings, many who are infinitely more intelligent, stronger, fundamentally better than Lance, why the fuck did Blue choose him?

Summary
Quackity's not one to dwell, certainly not on old loves. His fiances have left him. It's illogical to weep over those who love him no more. He moves forward, onward, to Las Nevadas and a prosperous country.
Quackity's not one to dwell. Wilbur is. And when he returns, Quackity's memories are dredged up.
A series of sunsets, victories and a line of TNT.

Summary
Catra had spent a few days mulling over the situation. In her eyes, it was kill or be killed.
Rather, love or don't. One works out well enough and the other has some consequences. Catra doesn't know which she prefers.
It's tiresome, but she finds she doesn't really mind.

Summary
When Catra is rescued from Horde Prime's mothership, all she can see is Adora. But obviously, Catra's dead. The real Adora probably can't stand her, let alone hold her in her lap.
Okay, so she's being over dramatic, but clearly, it's not real.
That's okay. Catra can still feel stuff.
