After the Creator Codes discovery and the return of Sires and Carriers, Shockwave has found himself intrigued by the entire concept. He craves to study the codes more so the one that brings about Carrying; however, even getting close to one, let alone studying a Carrier, has proven to be harder than fighting Unicron thanks to the Sires.
But Shockwave is a scientist by nature, and what can be overcome will be overcome.
