Summary
Rogue Decepticons typically have short lifespans. The same goes for mercenaries who protect merchants from pirates in the Cardaxian Expanse.
Killswitch and Direclaw are both of these things, and yet they have managed to eek out an existence as guns-for-hire in a mostly lawless region of the galaxy, fighting pirates and bandits who prey on trade caravans that travel the expanse. To Killswitch, it's the perfect use of the only skill he believes Cybertronians have: fighting.
But one day, the duo are forced to take a detour that results in them picking up a strange signal in uncharted territory. They investigate the signal to find an aging structure on a lifeless frozen moon that leads deep underground into an abandoned facility that has seemingly been affected by anomalous circumstances.
Will they find answers, or simply more unsettling questions?

If so, you'd know the gist of Transformers Isolated, and that all the cool characters are dead. But what happened to them? Many things happened to many bots, and that's what The Cybertron Chronicles aims to tell. This is a prequel to Isolated, and will be written as an anthology, with each chapter being centered around a different event/character/group. I plan to make the actual Transformers Isolated a comic series, but The Cybertron Chronicles being short stories are perfect for text-only storytelling. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Oh, and I'll try to keep it in chronological order, but I'm making zero promises.
