One second he’s walking towards the elevator, pressing the button for the ground floor and the next there's a hand grabbing his wrist and pulling him towards the store cupboard. Spencer barely has time to react, his pulse racing as he fights the grip on his body, breath coming out faster as he struggles in the dark enclosed space.
He can’t hear anything, static buzzing in his ears as he works himself up more.
All of a sudden his kidnapper lets go, but instead uses both hands to cup Spencer’s cheeks and jaw, forcing his head upwards as a light flickers on.
His senses begin to come back and the world unblurs as words begin to filter into his brain.
“-rry. It’s just me, you’re okay, pretty boy.”
The nickname has him blinking, finally focusing on who is in front of him.

Or the one where Spencer overhears a conversation and jumps to conclusions because who else would Derek be talking about? Spencer is annoying and talks too much, so why would he think any differently? Maybe he should have spoken to Derek first… but well, Derek isn't going to let this silent treatment stand if he has any say.

“Is he hurt?” Eddie’s words shook with the fear he now felt tenfold.
In which a tragedy on the edge of a firestorm leaves part of the 118 stranded and struggling to survive in the wilderness. Left entirely to their own devices, the survivors fight to come home, alive.
