Purple robes press against the tall wooden back of the chair, the silk crushed where the leather straps pull tightly against shoulders; elbows; those delicate wrists. His frame looks small, slumped, a twisted dreamscape parody of fantasies in which the sleek line of a mantle is stripped down to bare soft curves of shoulders and throat.

A battle with a blood mage results in an interesting lyrium-bound poison clinging stubbornly to Fenris. The affliction forces him to spend more time with Anders, and the tension is palpable as Fenris is forced to trust Anders, a mage he doesn’t trust, with his life, and repeated closeness to the lyrium marks that have plagued his life for years.

After Anders is captured by templars and made Tranquil, Nathaniel finds himself grieving both the man he loves and the relationship they had barely had a chance to begin.

In an AU in which Anders and Fenris both end up in Kirkwall a decade earlier, Leto brings Anders home to meet his family.
He liked Leto. In a way he hadn’t liked anyone in a long time. If they got to see each for more than a handful of hours every few days he’d have done something about it by now. Up until they found the tunnels, he’d never been able to see Leto anywhere other than the Gallows kitchens when the elf came with the morning deliveries. Gallows Templars weren’t the brightest- they still hadn’t figured out that when Anders said ‘oh come on please, anything but kitchen duty’ what he really meant was ‘please sentence me to an afternoon of light work where I can steal biscuits and flirt with the grocery boy.’

Essek was haunted by Caleb’s hands. The man was… very explicit with the use of his bare hands in everyday life, and it never failed to rile Essek into something of a frenzy, hiding behind a book or busying himself with other work just so he didn’t have to stare directly at the wanton displays. Kryn culture dictated that hands were an extension of not just the physical self, but the spiritual self. A drow could reach back through ages and lifetimes with a touch to a Beacon, and similarly a single touch of skin to skin could transform and reach across lifetimes to connect two people in ways more than simply physical.
Caleb, by Kryn standards, was a bit of a slut.
