"I promise I will not tell anyone else about what happens in this room tonight." Tim swears, raising his hand like he's making a pledge, "Regardless of whether or not I choose to accept and/or enact your proposed plan."
"Ok great!" Kon grinned wide and bright before something nervous caught in it. Barely a moment later he smoothed it out again, flipped to the second page of his presentation, and announced, "I think we should have a friends with benefits arrangement."
Regardless of whether or not he'd previously agreed to hearing Kon's proposal out, he could not have possibly stopped the knee jerk, "Absolutely not." From leaving his mouth.
"You promised!" Kon accused, pointing a finger at him, "You said you'd hear me out properly."

Or, Tim and Kon engage in the weirdest game of platonic gay chicken the world has ever seen.

Summary
He glances over to the mail on the desk, and one particular piece catches his eye. It’s a rumor article talking about the various ladies and gentlemen participating in the season this year.
Jason notices which one he picks up and speaks as he’s sipping his drink, “Gripping read you’ve got there. Talks about your competition". Tim rolls his eyes, “‘Competition’ is a flattering word for them. I can barely even breathe at these events without at least ten debutantes telling me how much they would love to be a princess or a queen”.
“Heard anything about wanting to be a duchess?” Jason teases.
Jason takes the paper from him, opens to a new page, points at a specific section, and hands it back to his brother, “There’s a fresh heartthrob this year. So Prince Timothy Jackson Wayne is going to have actual competition this year.” He makes sure to overexaggerate his little brother’s title as much as possible.
Tim’s eyes drift over the paper to find exactly what his brother was talking about, a subarticle with the heading “Lord Conner Luthor is now seeking a wife in Gotham during this year’s season.”

Summary
Ilya Rozanov has been drafted by Boston, the number one pick overall, but his father doesn't want him moving to America and so takes steps to block his visa. He's going to have to go back to Russia and stay there forever and that, thinks Shane Hollander, is wrong.
It's so wrong that Shane can't stop himself from doing something about it. Even though that something is the most reckless, the only reckless thing he's ever done in his life. He marries Rozanov in secret, to keep him out of Russia and put him on a path to Canadian citizenship.
Shane's got a five-year plan to get him there and when you have a plan nothing can go wrong. Right? Right. When you have a solid plan and a marriage that's on paper only there's no risk of feelings getting involved. Not on Rozanov's part and certainly not on Shane's.
Right???
