Sure, maybe Roy sometimes catches himself admiring more than just Jamie’s form as they train in the mornings, or standing closer than he needs to after Jamie’s sweat through his scent blocker and his sweet omega scent bleeds through. And, fine, maybe Roy nearly lost his mind at the cloying scent of pre-heat clinging to Jamie during the week he took his annual break from his suppressants, and spent the three days of Jamie’s heat having to remind himself that it would be extremely inappropriate to jog by Jamie’s house just to make sure there were no unsavoury alphas skulking about.
Okay, so maybe Roy does want to shag Jamie a bit.

“No you’re fucking not,” Roy says instantly, circling his fingers around Jamie’s wrist so hard it hurts. “How can you be fucking intruding? I fucking invited you.”
Jamie’s head swims with all the f-bombs in that sentence. You’d think he’d be used to it by now.

Theo was sitting beside her, gamely chatting her up. Even Pansy had tentatively joined, uncharacteristically keeping herself on the fringe of the conversation. But at least she was there. Of course, thing might be different if Potter had also returned to school — after what Pansy had done. Because Draco could not sit at that table. Not after what he had done — or failed to do — when Granger was at the Manor. His heart started pounding, the memory of her screams always fresh in his mind because he relived them every time he closed his eyes. He left to go to the library.
It wasn’t as though he had much of an appetite.
