Summary
While Tommy had been busy getting beaten to death in prison, Tubbo and Ranboo had moved in together, adopted a child, and gotten married. The fact that they’d managed to do so in the span of three days was admittedly rather impressive. It did still sting, though. Tommy had found out about all of those new developments a few days after being released.
Truth be told, Tommy had stopped listening at some point. He was glad that Tubbo looked so happy, but a part of him couldn’t help but notice that he’d been left behind yet again.
Because of his distraction, however, he mindlessly agreed to something his friend had said. He knew because Tubbo had beamed at him and had started happily moving about his living room, looking into his chests for valuables. Tommy could have asked him what was going on. Sure, maybe Bee Boy would have been upset that he wasn’t actually listening, but an infraction so minor was easy to apologize for. Really, it would have been the best course of action. Unfortunately, his brain wasn’t working with him that day. Finding a coherent thought among the dark clouds that had formed up there felt like an impossible challenge.

“True.” Techno nodded, his pig ears bobbing on his head. Tommy had gone back on their deal first—another name on the list of those who had betrayed him. A list Dream’s name had just joined. “Dream, you know my sayin’—repaying kindness tenfold and injustice a thousand?”

Tommy had finally found his home, after spending his entire life in the foster system and being tossed from house to house and torn from person to person. He even managed to make a few friends, and they all planned to go camping once summer hit, something Tommy had never been able to do. He was ecstatic, practically vibrating with excitement every time it was brought up.
When his foster father finally offered him adoption papers on his birthday, barely a month before the trip, he’d been over the moon about it and sobbed for hours, although he would later deny it. The blond had finally allowed himself to believe he’d found his permanent family.
He was confident in saying that nobody was prepared for what came barely a week later.

Truthfully, Richie didn't actually have a problem with girls. When he was younger, he used to resent them because he didn't understand their appeal. When he was even younger, most of his friends were girls, but he grew out of that by age six. Chasing after girls always seemed like a major waste of time, and he'd simply thought he was better than other boys for not getting braindead around girls. It was incredibly frustrating, though, watching his friends get distracted by them over and over. He’d only learned to live with it once he figured out that he's the weird one, not them. So he didn't have a problem with girls as a whole. Some of them— a lot of them— were great, actually. Like Bev. He really only had problems with girls for valid reasons or when Eddie liked one of them.

Wilbur had once told him that grief changes people: someone usually quiet and soft-spoken could suddenly lash out. People with the fiercest of tempers suddenly go silent and stare blankly ahead as if everything they were or had been, had suddenly been sucked out of them, leaving them empty and hollow.
Grief was unpredictable, no one knew how it would affect them, what parts of themselves they would lose or gain on the journey to get out of the black hole that grief's clawed fingers had dragged them down into.
Grieving people often became rash and reckless, driven purely by their emotions as their brain shut off in an attempt to process something it just couldn’t.
They had all gone out together, leaving him here alone.
Or: Sbi are terminally ill patients that meet in the hospital. Fate is a cruel thing and their time together is cut short.
Or, or: Tommy is the last man left standing, and he is not pleased.
