He goes to Dustin, who's too busy with Suzie to care. He goes to El, and she kindly tells him that she's technically been through worse and Will shouldn't be complaining.
When Will finally reaches the end of the rope, he reaches out to Mike.

This honestly is just a fix it fic because I'm very mad at Mr. Micheal Wheeler for being so oblivious to Will's (and his own) feelings 😡I feel like they could have a much better relationship if they just... accepted that they were queerbos.......
I'm aware that Stranger Things is set in the early 1980's, where the AIDs epidemic was still going around, and how they blamed it entirely on gays. Being openly homosexual was like a one way ticket to being bullied. Mike and Will would definitely be nervous about liking each other, but I feel like they should still.. y'know.. try? I'm not sure. Maybe it's my stupid brain trying to justify my babygirls' heinous actions....(I'm a Will defender but Mike is overdue for some damn comfort man 😭🤕)
