Summary
Ivan’s love was simple in a world too complex for it. And so he held it all in until he thought his heart might split from the pressure, or collapse in on itself and pull the rest of him in with it.
One of these complications is that Till has been trying for months to convince Ivan to kill one of his closest friends, who also happens to be the Emperor.
In the court of the Emperor, resentment is brewing… threatening the stability of the Empire itself. So begins our epic tale of betrayal, love, friendship and forgiveness.
TLDR: I took a Mozart opera and made fanfic out of it. Like all good operas it has a pretentious setting but is really just a bunch of people who can’t communicate for shit and insist on dragging their messy romantic and personal lives into their politics.
I’m not sure who the intended audience is for this if I’m honest.

Summary
Ivan followed the Chief as he slid on a pair of latex gloves. After ducking under the tape, it was still a dozen steps until they reached the victim.
He was young, Ivan noted. Early to mid twenties, with shoulder-length silver hair and a thin complexion that couldn’t quite be blamed onto dehydration of the body. Lying on his back but propped to the side, as though he’d rolled over in his slumber, his eyes open just as slit, not enough to see the color. One could overlook the pallor of his skin and believe him to be a boy, sleeping.
“…What’s his name?”
“Till.”
Ivan crouched next to him.
“Till,” he repeated.
Till, a twenty-four year old university student, is found dead by the train tracks, an hour on foot away from the town where he was last seen alive. Ivan is assigned to investigate his case, and through a series of oddly familiar details and vivid dreams, he realizes there are more links between himself and the victim than he knows.

Sua paused. Where would Ivan go? Would he get sent to his own little cloud to wait on Till? That would be just adorable, the two of them waiting on the objects of their obsessions to tell them that it was okay to let go, to finally, truly die. Whatever happened, she just hoped he ended up far away from–
“Sua.”
“Nope,” Sua said, not turning around. There was a weight on the other side of the cloud and a low voice she would recognize anywhere. She was absolutely not turning around.
“What the hell is that above your head? Where are we? What…is that Till?”
Sua turned around.
OR:
Sua was the first to die, which means she missed out on a lot. Luckily for her, she's given her own little cloud on which she can watch all the going-ons of Alien Stage (but let's face it, she mostly watches Mizi).

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be good.
Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.
OR
Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.
