Luke lived the first nineteen years of his life on Tatooine. He could never really grasp the fact that there was so much water in the Galaxy.
Not until he saw it, what it meant, and what water said about him.
(There was no water on Tatooine, so he never learned how to swim.
He proceeded to dodge the fact that he didn't know how to swim for the next ten years of his life, because what kind of Jedi master didn't know how to swim?)

Luke stood over the pile of metal and sand with narrow eyes. He appeared seconds from tapping his foot. And that was when Han finally saw the damn thing.
It was a saber hilt. Silver, like most of them. It was laying innocently on the ground by the bike’s undamaged frame, as though it hadn’t just come rocketing from a mile away to take the Mandalorian out like a bomb.
(Han steps in to help Luke get back into the saddle with the whole Din-situation.)

Summary
Luke said goodbye to the other children and his staff with Grogu practically writhing in his arms, so excited he was to get off this planet.
Luke felt that. But he also felt the indomitable urge to go and put Grogu on Yoda’s memorial altar to see what would happen. Din didn’t need to know about that leg of this adventure. He had plenty to be unsatisfied with as it was. For starters, the fact that Luke refused to take him to Dagobah in the Rust Bucket.
That was causing what other people might have called ‘tension’ between Luke and Din, but what, to Luke, was better described as a ‘temper tantrum.’
(Luke takes Grogu and Din to Dagobah in their quest to lose the Darksaber.)
