Summary
Chris and Leon have spent four years pretending that whatever exists between them ends when each mission does: catch the person responsible, survive, have dinner, sleep together, and return to their separate lives.

Summary
Chris and Leon never had a problem with their arrangement. Both interpersonally and in the hiding-it-from-other-people department.
Well at least until after Alcatraz.
When Chris finally emerged with all paperwork and reports about the incident dealt with, he and Claire went to get lunch together, making use of the opportunity of being in the same country for once to have a little sibling time that didn’t involve being infected with a virus and then fighting a bioweapon.
A lunch for which Chris made one crucial error.
He wore a normal shirt.
All was well as they ordered drinks and food and talked about whatever (their lives, how much of a loser that Dylan guy was, etcetera).
But then Chris rolled his shoulders absentmindedly and watched with a subconscious pang of dread as Claire’s eyes narrowed and back straightened.
“What?” he asked.
“That’s a hickey.” Not a question. A statement.or
Leon and Chris had been sleeping with each other to relieve stress for years no problem, both content to not let their budding feelings ruin what they have. Thankfully they have Claire to make them realise their feelings are more reciprocated than they'd ever hoped.

So when he catches the attention of Chris Redfield, an earnest mechanical engineering senior who will graduating at the end of the semester, Leon decides to just go with the flow. The plan is simple, that is to enjoy a fun lineup of casual campus dates and keep things strictly low-stakes before graduation naturally separates them.
Too bad Chris didn't get the memo about keeping things temporary. With his overwhelming devotion and complete disregard for personal space, keeping it "casual" is going to be a lot harder than Leon thinks.

Whenever Grace was feeling down, she liked to imagine all the different ‘R’ Commanders, Captains and Operatives as the same mythical “superhero” BSAA soldier. It felt nice to imagine (if only for a moment) that wherever a bioweapon would spring up there would be an immovable soldier to meet its unstoppable force, saving the day.
But of course, no one person could do all that.Or:
