Summary
Bruce stared at Clark as if he was stupid, and Clark came so close to a moment of clarity when his brain asked why Bruce of all people had noticed, but he quickly offered it up the explanation that Batman was a bit paranoid and overly cautious and so of course — of course he noticed. It didn’t mean anything.
Or,
When Clark starts feeling sick, Bruce worries and calls Kara for answers. She’s busy wondering when these two idiots will get their act together.

Imagine Batman decided to go for a full helmet instead of leaving his mouth part visible.
Imagine he had decided to paint his Kevlar in Vantablack. For stealth, of course.Year One looked a bit different. Suddenly, it wasn't a man hunting down the corruption and its causes in Gotham.
It was a creature, a shadow.
(Jim didn't give a fuck.)
*Not leaned/based on the actual movie. 'Year One' is just the general term I'll use here for the first year Batman was active in Gotham.
This fic does not follow any comic book or movie/cartoon timeline.

Summary
Batman is a loner. He prefers to stay in Gotham, mind his business, and take care of his ward, Dick Grayson. But when he gets caught on camera while on a patrol, that video ends up online and he becomes Gotham's biggest urban legend almost overnight. What will he do when he gets roped into joining the Justice League, who all think he's a vampire?
Robin is doing his best. He likes his life with his mentor and caretaker, along with his adoptive grandfather; Alfred. He goes to school and tries his best to make friends, and gets to scare the Justice League sometimes when they meet on patrol. He likes being a vampire. But what will happen when he has to tell his friends in Young Justice the truth?
Or: Basically everybody thinks Batman is a vampire, including the Justice League, and he doesn't even try to deny it.
Later chapters will be more about Robin once he joins young justice! <3-

Summary
Crime was rampant in Gotham. It had always been. For as long as they could remember, the city was a smog covered, crime ridden monstrosity. As though a never-ending cloud of gloom and despair sat heavy over the city, bringing the worst of humanity to it.
A permanent cover of darkness and despair. A place for criminals to hide.
A web long standing.
As mad laughter cackled through the city, screams rising from almost every street, a creature long sentenced to darkness,

Summary
Superman’s hands came up in a pacifying gesture as he let himself drop to the rooftop with deliberate slowness, boots touching down in a muted thud.
“We didn’t mean to scare you–”
A sharp, brief trill cut him off—a sound that was more bird than anything else.
You did not scare me.
It had been instinct. The ingrained habit of using the family’s covert calls whenever the suit was on. And the moment the sound left him, Batman was profoundly grateful for the cowl hiding his face.
Or
The Justice League goes to invite Batman to join the team but because of Bruce's inability to socialize like a normal human being, he led the Justice League to think he was a bat creature.Series

Summary
something something bruce offhandedly mentions being autistic and it's like a record scratches as his kids turn to him with expressions varying from "how the fuck did i not know" to "why the fuck did you not tell me." there's the beginnings of an argument because, well, it would've made communication a lot EASIER if they knew.
Excerpt:
"They called you autistic to your- Bruce, did no one do anything??" Dick asked. He was very aware of the kind of bullying a newly-orphaned kid might receive, but it had never been anything like that."It was the 80s, they used the more outdated term. And they were right, so what was there to report?" Bruce shrugged.
