Fit is missing for 2 weeks and comes back different. Not like those federation copies, no. Something else. He's just... not acting right. Pac is left to pick up the pieces of someone he's forced to see a different side of while juggling his own feelings of inadequacy. Oh, and make a cure. With no help or pointers as to what happened to Fit in the time he was missing.

“Okay, but what’s your dream?” Asking all the hard questions, Fit looks to the brunette confused.
“Dream?”
“What keeps you motivated to get out of bed each morning?”
Opening his mouth to answer, none come to mind leading to him eventually closing it and furrowing his brow.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to touch on a sore subject.” Pac mistakes his silence, Fit waving it off before giving the tiniest smile.
“No–no it's okay. It’s just…I don’t know what my dream is. No one has ever asked me before.”

Fit spent his whole life serving the Navy, ambition his only companion until a playful brunette with a zest for life asks him thought-provoking questions.

"On the edge of his senses, he can hear the whir of electricity. The sound of machinery starting up follows. The robot's hands twitch slightly. It's head lifts slowly, and Pac feels proud of what he's done.
It looks up at him, blinking at Pac while it's bootup sequence ends with what he's sure is a ‘Hello World’ message.
Pac smiles widely.
“Good morning, Fit.”"

Pac is a mechanic, Mike works for the Federation, and the phrase 'make a friend' is taken way too literally.
