Summary
Ereinion Gil-galad discovers a miracle. Elros (not yet Tar-Minyatur) finds his way.
--
"You'll have no luck with that one," one of the other healers stopped a moment to advise them both. "He hasn't moved since the men brought him in; likely, his spirit is unmoored."
"Try anyhow?" Ereinion implored Elrond, softly, and he blessed his friend when Elrond did not question these orders, as if he thought it entirely worth his time and power to dote upon this old, near-dead thrall.

Summary
I like this premise of Fingon needing to win Maedhros back by courting him so much that I’ve made notes for several follow-up stories in this same AU (which is why I am planning to create a new series for it). I am not sure if I will ever end up writing any of those stories, but I will be much more likely to do so if readers let me know that they would be interested in reading sequels to this story. I have jotted down notes for: 1) the “Fingon bringing Maedhros lunch on First Day” story; 2) a Fingon taking Maedhros to his mountain lodge story; and 3) a story wherein Fingon encounters a new nemesis in the form of Maedhros’ protective pet snake, Lucky (which is short for ‘isn’t it lucky he’s not venomous anymore’).
I have also written down notes for several different ways that Fingon might finally convince Maedhros to accept his proposal of marriage. In addition, I have notes for a number of other conversations that might take place on Vingilot the same night as “Marry Me,” after Maedhros goes belowdecks with Elrond.
I am interested in any ideas that readers might want to share for what they’d like to see happen in any sequel(s) to this story.

Summary
“I am not your son! That happy, carefree boy died. He died in Sirion and he died at Amon Ereb and in the ashes of Eregion and seeing the debris of Númenor wash ashore. He died with Maedhros, and Elros, and Gil-galad. He was long gone by the time a pack of orcs decided to have some fun with what was left!”
Elwing burst into tears, hand coming to her mouth in a futile attempt to stifle them.
Elrond fled.
