“Can you help me?” Wilbur asks. He could grab him. He could take this boy right now, make sure he’s never limping again. He could. But the thing draped over his shoulders like oil glares at Wilbur.
The boy blinks, before nodding his head. Wilbur smiles, lets his eyes shine a little brighter. The boy takes a step forward, his leg weak and shaking. It breaks his heart to see the boy like this, but Wilbur will have him soon. He’ll make sure of it.
“Thank you. I’m looking for someone.” He lets the boy gaze into his eyes and thinks I’m looking for you.

“You know that Phil’s always been the cookin’ type, not me,” Techno responds with a shrug, and Tommy’s expression darkens a tad.
