The phone rang three times before the line picked up and Shoyo’s voice filled the empty room.
“Tobioooo.”
Tobio, for some reason, immediately burst into tears at the sound of his boyfriend’s voice. His lips pressed into a thin line and his face twisted up so tightly that it looked like he was in physical pain. He leaned forward and rested his forehead against his knees, allowing the tears to drip down onto his thighs.
